Welcome to Spay Oklahoma,
the low cost place to get your pet “fixed.”

Our mission is to eliminate pet overpopulation in Oklahoma by providing spay and neuter services to pet owners who are financially unable to afford this important step in the care of their dogs and cats.

Nearly two out of every three animals born will become unwanted and end up abandoned or in pounds, shelters or research laboratories.  Last year in Tulsa, more than 12,000 companion dogs and cats were put to death at the city’s animal control facility.

The role of Spay Oklahoma in the lives of area families is to help eliminate the “littering” of unwanted dogs and cats and to improve the quality of life of companion animals and their owner families.

We believe that our low-cost spay and neuter program helps by:

  • reducing the number of unwanted puppies and kittens

  • reducing the incidence of disease carried by stray animals

  • reducing risks of dog bites

  • reducing the number of companion pets put to death at the city animal shelter

  • reducing the number of car accidents caused by stray animals running loose on the streets

  • reducing suffering and death cats and dogs who are abandoned, dumped, neglected and abused

We also believe that the quality of life for all companion animals and people improves as the number of unwanted animals is controlled.

NEW!
Fives Saves Lives Program!

SPAY OK is proud to be a part of the national “Five Saves Lives,” campaign, an early age sterilization initiative intended to prevent companion animals from having, “just one litter.” Early age sterilization is the most effective way to halt pet overpopulation while also preventing many health problems, including mammary tumors, at a far greater rate than later sterilization.  More information...
